FOR SALE Moto Morini 1200 CORSARO 2007 – 5800 miles. This bike was a Cat D about 4 years ago. I have contacted the previous owner who confirmed that it was subject to a very low speed drop on the left hand side due to loosing the rear on a metal man hole while turning out of a junction. The bike has been fully repaired and shows no sign of the cosmetic damage that was caused. If you take off the small cockpit fairing you will see internal repair to the plastic, this is not visible from the outside. Other items that have been replaced or repaired are; clocks, head light surround, clutch lever, bar end, left footrest hanger / gear lever, radiator. The tank, cockpit fairing and tail fairing have been resprayed. The engine is Morinis own 1200cc and produces around 140 BHP in standard trim. It start and runs as it should. Some 1200 Morinis have problems with poor running due to leaving the factory poorly set up and with bad ECU mapping. This is not one of them!!! I also have a Morini 1200 Granpasso that did have running problems and needed a dyno session and remap to fix so I know a bit about what a bad Morini set up feel like. It sounds amazing even with the standard silencer fitted. It pulls like a train from very low revs and likes to get a move on. It is in very clean condition and has had a recent oil and filter change. Tyres are about 50% worn. Morini 1200s are very rare. I have never seen another 1200 Morini on the road of any type. The yellow and black paintwork is also very rare, The previous owner had the seat recovered to match the yellow and black colour scheme. It is showing 1322 miles on the clock but has covered a total of approx 5800 miles as the clocks were changed at 4500 miles when the bike was dropped. It is not currently MOT’d as I did not use it last year too many bikes! I’m not desperate to sell and these bikes are rare so will only be going up in value. As this is a Cat D it is priced lower than a bike in this mileage and condition usually get. Sorry no P/EX as I need to downsize and get some funds for my house move.
